After six days of intensive work, on the afternoon of July 2, 2026, the National Economics University held the closing session of the official site visit for the external evaluation of 11 academic programs in accordance with the standards of FIBAA (the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), covering Cluster 3 and Cluster 5.

Program Overview

Attending the program were: Ms. Friderike Odrowski – Project Manager of Cluster 1; Dr. Rebekka Welker – Project Manager of Cluster 2; along with members of the FIBAA evaluation expert team. On behalf of the National Economics University were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice President of the University; along with leaders of Schools, Departments, Faculties, Institutes, Centers, leaders of training units, staff, faculty members, and students participating in the quality accreditation of the academic programs.

In his closing remarks of the official survey, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice President of the National Economics University expressed his sincere gratitude to the FIBAA expert team for their objective, serious, and professional work throughout the evaluation process. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong affirmed that the comments and recommendations from the expert team are valuable information, helping the University to review and improve the academic programs, continue to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance work, and better meet the needs of learners and society.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong emphasized that the University will seriously consider the recommendations of the FIBAA expert team, develop specific improvement plans for each academic program, while continuing to innovate teaching methods, perfect the internal quality assurance system, enhance internationalization, and apply technology in educational management. Through this, the University will continuously improve the quality of education, affirm the reputation of the National Economics University in Vietnam’s higher education system, and gradually integrate with international educational standards.

The official survey for 11 academic programs is part of the accreditation roadmap for 32 academic programs according to FIBAA standards of the National Economics University in 2026. The results of the survey not only reaffirm the University’s strong commitment to ensuring and enhancing the quality of education but also lay the foundation for the University to continuously improve and perfect the programs according to international standards. Through this, the National Economics University continues to realize its strategy of internationalizing education, enhancing competitiveness, and gradually affirming its position as a leading higher education institution in the region.
