Established in 2005 under decisions by the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Ministry of Education and Training, National Economics University Press has the mission of publishing scholarly works, textbooks, and materials for teaching and scientific research, directly supporting the University’s education and knowledge dissemination activities.

Over 20 years of establishment and development, National Economics University Press has published thousands of titles, including many textbooks and specialized materials widely used at economics education institutions nationwide. The scholarly publications issued by the Press have not only helped affirm NEU’s academic reputation but also shared the value of knowledge and a spirit of intellectual openness with the community.

In recent years, the Press has proactively applied information technology and digital transformation to editing, typesetting, and distribution processes while developing electronic publishing platforms, with the goal of becoming a model university publisher in the digital age. With a strategic vision and a spirit of innovation, the Press continues to affirm its role as NEU’s knowledge center and a bridge connecting science, education, and society, helping advance Vietnam’s reading culture and knowledge in an era of integration.

“Through a challenging initial period, the Press’s staff persevered and innovated, gradually building it into one of Vietnam’s most reputable university publishers in economics and management. With thousands of titles supporting teaching, learning, and research, alongside many scholarly works of practical value, the Press’s publications have not only helped spread the University’s academic reputation but also played an important role in developing a reading culture and knowledge in society,” affirmed Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong.

Notably, in recent years, the Press has proactively renewed its management thinking, applied technology, and gradually pursued digital transformation in publishing, in line with development trends in the Industry 4.0 era. According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, this strategic direction demonstrates a long-term vision and an aspiration for international integration, opening opportunities for the Press to develop sustainably and become NEU’s digital knowledge center in the future.

Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong, President of NEU, expressed confidence that, with the solid foundation built over the past 20 years, National Economics University Press would continue to uphold its traditions, innovate its operating model, and strengthen domestic and international cooperation, aiming to contribute even more substantially to the University’s development strategy through 2035, with a vision to 2045.
