As part of their field study program, from December 12 to 13, 2025, more than 100 master’s students in cohorts 13 and 14 of the Executive – MBA program at National Economics University (NEU) successfully completed site surveys, field consultations, and a seminar at FPT Software Da Nang.

An overview of the program

Welcoming the delegation on behalf of FPT Corporation in the Central region were Nguyen Tuan Phuong, Chairman of FPT Software Central Vietnam Company Limited; Dinh Hong An, Head of the FPT IS Central Region Representative Office; Nguyen Tran Hung, Director of the FPT IS Research and Development Center; Ta Bao Trung, Business Director of the Government Division at FPT IS; and Nguyen Cao Thanh, Chief Representative of the FPT Semiconductor Da Nang Office.

Representing NEU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thanh Huong, Dean of the Institute of Postgraduate Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi, Rector of the College of Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Son Tung, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tuan, Vice Dean of the School of Business Administration; Prof. Dr. Ngo Thang Loi, Senior Lecturer; Dr. Nguyen Duc Hoa, Deputy Head of the Training Division, Institute of Postgraduate Education; and all Executive – MBA students in cohorts 13 and 14.

On December 12, 2025, the students participated in site surveys and field consultations at FPT Software Da Nang—a member of FPT Corporation, established in 1999 and now one of the leading providers of information technology and digital transformation services globally. In addition to the site visit, the students heard from representatives of FPT Software Da Nang’s leadership about the Company’s production and business performance and strategic development direction for the next five years; the impact of Government policies and resolutions on technology enterprises; and its participation in developing and implementing the “City Digital Transformation” project, bringing AI applications to each socioeconomic sector in Da Nang.

Continuing the program, a seminar on “FPT Central Region: Some Breakthrough Solutions for Development” took place on December 13, 2025, featuring in-depth discussions. Student groups presented three key papers: solutions for developing the Central region market for FPT IS’s Vert Zero product; research on Da Nang city government support policies for Software Park No. 2, linked to the activities of the R&D Center for High Technology and Semiconductor Chips; and solutions to strengthen FPT Software Central Vietnam’s participation in global value chains in software and digital transformation. The papers and discussions were highly regarded, demonstrating the students’ analytical skills, critical thinking, and ability to apply management knowledge to business practice.

The field study trip to FPT Software Da Nang concluded successfully, providing Executive – MBA students with vivid experiences, practical perspectives, and a deeper understanding of technology enterprise development models amid efforts to accelerate artificial intelligence adoption and comprehensive digital transformation, contributing to the development of Vietnam’s digital economy.
