The National Economics University (NEU) Collaborates with the Korea International Trade Association to Enhance Cooperation Opportunities
On March 25, 2026, representatives from the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in Hanoi, along with the Commercial Attaché of the Korean Embassy, visited National Economics University to discuss future cooperation opportunities.

Attending the meeting on behalf of the National Economics University were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Secretary of the Party Committee; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung – Head of the International Cooperation Department; Prof. Dr. Le Quang Canh – Dean of the Institute for Sustainable Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Bich Ngoc – Deputy Dean of the School of International Trade & Economics; along with other staff and faculty members of the University.
On behalf of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Mr. Kang Heon Woo – Chief Representative of the KITA Office in Hanoi, accompanied by the Commercial Attaché of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam joined the meeting.

On behalf of the University’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho warmly welcomed Mr. Kang Heon Woo – Chief Representative of the KITA Office in Hanoi and the Commercial Attaché of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam for their visit to National Economics University.
Associate Professor Dr. Bui Duc Tho affirmed that “National Economics University has consistently placed great importance on expanding international cooperation, particularly with Korean partners, with the aim of enhancing training quality, strengthening practical relevance, and creating more development opportunities for students”. At the same time, the University expressed its expectation that both sides would soon implement concrete cooperative activities, thereby contributing to the promotion of a sustainable partnership in the time ahead.

During the meeting, Mr. Kang Heon Woo, representative of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) in Hanoi, expressed a desire to strengthen collaboration with the National Economics University in organizing exchange programs and connections between Korean enterprises and the university’s students.
Accordingly, the planned cooperation activities are expected to go beyond the mere sharing of recruitment information, extending to the practical experience programs, career seminars, internships, and skills training initiatives. These efforts aim to enable students to gain early exposure to the international working environment. KITA representatives hope that through this collaboration, students will be better equipped with knowledge, skills, and an integrative mindset, thereby expanding job opportunities and enhancing competitiveness in the context of globalization.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue exchanges and promote specific collaborative content in the future, particularly in the areas of business connections, student support, and the development of academic programs aligned with practical needs.
The working session of the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) at National Economics University is expected to open up practical cooperation opportunities, contributing to strengthening the connection between the university and the Korean business community, while also creating more learning, internship, and employment opportunities for students in an international environment.
