Promoting Comprehensive Collaboration Between National Economics University and Hoa Lu University

On the afternoon of May 26, 2026, a delegation from National Economics University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice President, conducted a working session with Hoa Lu University to exchange experiences and discuss solutions to overcome challenges in academic collaboration and to promote cooperation between the two higher education institutions.

Attending the program, on behalf of Hoa Lu University, were Dr. Vu Van Truong – President, along with representatives from specialized units. On behalf of National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice President; Dr. Bui Duc Dung – Head of Administrative Office; MSc. Do Xuan Dung – Head of the Inspection – Legal Department; Dr. Dam Son Toai – Head of the Testing and Quality Assurance Department; MSc. Luong Viet Anh – Deputy Head of the Part-time Education Faculty; along with other members of the working delegation.

In his speech at the working session, Dr. Vu Van Truong – President of Hoa Lu University, expressed his pleasure in welcoming the delegation from National Economics University. He emphasized that in the context of higher education undergoing significant transformations towards autonomy, digital transformation, and international integration, strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions plays a particularly important role.

According to Dr. Vu Van Truong, the collaborative activities between the two universities in recent times have not only contributed to enhancing the effectiveness of academic collaboration but also opened up many opportunities for professional exchange, faculty development, and provided more favorable conditions for students to access quality academic programs. The President of Hoa Lu University also expressed his hope that the cooperative relationship between the two institutions will continue to expand, deepen, and yield practical results in the upcoming phase.

Representing the delegation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice Rector of the University, emphasized that the National Economics University always focuses on expanding cooperation with higher education institutions nationwide to leverage strengths, enhance training quality, and meet the demands of human resource development in the new context. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong also highly appreciated the efforts of Hoa Lu University in training, management, and development in recent times.

Within the framework of the working program, both parties reviewed and summarized the contents of the comprehensive cooperation document for the 2021–2026 period between the two units, while also discussing directions for continuing the signing of cooperation agreements in the next phase. The cooperation content focuses on undergraduate and postgraduate academic programs, aiming to develop high-quality human resources to meet the socio-economic development needs of the new Ninh Binh province.

Both parties also concentrated on discussing the challenges and obstacles in the joint work-study training program as requested by Hoa Lu University, particularly in fields such as Hotel Management, Investment Economics, and Business Administration currently being implemented in Ninh Binh. The discussions focused on solutions to enhance management efficiency, ensure training quality, improve coordination mechanisms, and meet practical requirements in the current phase.

In addition, the delegation from the National Economics University conducted a field survey of the new campus of Hoa Lu University, examining the infrastructure, classrooms, and conditions for training. Both parties also exchanged and completed related documents and files to ensure all conditions for implementing joint training programs in the current phase and the coming years are met according to regulations.

The working session took place in an open, frank, and constructive atmosphere, reflecting the spirit of cooperation and partnership between the two higher education institutions in enhancing training quality and developing high-quality human resources to serve the socio-economic development of the locality and the country.
