More than 600 students from Tran Nguyen Han High School (Hai Phong) participate in the program “A Day as a Student at National Economics University”
On March 27, 2026, over 600 students from Tran Nguyen Han High School (Hai Phong) participated in the program “A Day as a Student at National Economics University”, experiencing the dynamic and modern learning environment at one of the leading universities in Vietnam. The program not only provided a realistic view of student life but also contributed to inspiring career orientation for the students from the early years of high school.

Attending the program, from Tran Nguyen Han High School were: Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Thao – Party Secretary, Principal; Ms. Pham Thi Huong Xuan – Vice Principal; along with teachers, esteemed parents, and more than 600 tenth-grade students from Tran Nguyen Han High School.
From National Economics University were: Dr. Vu Trong Nghia – Head, Communications Department; Prof. Dr. Dinh The Hung – Deputy Dean, School of Accounting and Auditing; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Bich Ngoc – Deputy Dean, School of Trade and International Economics; Dr. Le Thi Huong Lan – Head of the Cooperation & Development Department, International School of Management and Economics; Master Hoang Thanh Ha – Senior Specialist, Department of Academic Affairs; along with faculty members, staff from the functional units within the University.

On behalf of the University’s leadership, Dr. Vu Trong Nghia – Head of the Communications Department extended a warm welcome and gratitude to the teachers, parents, and numerous students attending the program, demonstrating their interest and affection for National Economics University.
Dr. Vu Trong Nghia stated that National Economics University has a long history dating back to the early years of the country’s development, closely linked with the demand for training human resources in the fields of economics and finance to serve the construction and development efforts. Over nearly 70 years of establishment and growth, the University has become one of Vietnam’s leading educational institutions in economics, management, and business administration, and a trusted address for the Party and State in training high-quality human resources.
“The predecessor of National Economics University originated from the practical needs of the country in training a team of personnel capable of mobilizing, managing, and effectively utilizing financial resources in the context of resistance and national construction. From that foundation, the University has continuously developed, expanded its scale, enhanced training quality, and affirmed its position as a national key university in the field of economics.
National Economics University boasts a high-quality faculty team, including many leading professors and associate professors in the field of economics in Vietnam. This is an important foundation that helps the University maintain training quality and build academic reputation both domestically and internationally,” Dr. Vu Trong Nghia emphasized.
At the program, Dr. Vu Trong Nghia expressed his admiration for the dynamism and enthusiasm of the participating students, while also expressing hope that in the coming years, they will be welcomed as new students of the National Economics University, continuing their journey of learning and development at one of the country’s leading educational environments.

Representing Tran Nguyen Han High School (Hai Phong), Ms. Hoang Thi Phuong Thao expressed her joy and was impressed by the thoughtful and warm reception from the leadership, faculty members, and students of National Economics University for the delegation.
Ms. Thao stated that Tran Nguyen Han High School was established in 1976 and will celebrate its 50th anniversary of establishment and development in 2026. Currently, the school has nearly 2,000 students with 43 classes; specifically, in this program, the delegation includes more than 600 students from 15 classes participating in the experience at National Economics University.
According to the shared information, many students from Tran Nguyen Han High School have always nurtured the dream of becoming students of National Economics University. Even before attending the program, many expressed their desire to study in this environment and are determined to strive to realize their goals. This demonstrates the appeal and reputation of National Economics University among high school students, especially those from schools with good educational quality in the locality.
The school representative also hopes that in the future, the cooperative relationship between Tran Nguyen Han High School and National Economics University will continue to be strengthened, thereby creating opportunities for students to gain deeper insights into the learning environment, career orientation, and the academic programs of the University.
