On the morning of June 18, 2026, the Trade Union of the National Economics University organized a ceremony for the admission of new union members and announced the decision to establish the sub-union at the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training. This activity holds significant meaning in developing the union organization, expanding the membership, and enhancing the effectiveness of union activities within the University.

Attending the ceremony were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Dinh Bao – Member of the Standing Committee of the University’s Party Committee, Head of the Personnel Organization Department; Dr. Nguyen Huu Dong – Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Trade Union, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, Chairman of the University Trade Union, Chief of the Party – Union Office; Dr. Truong Tuan Anh – Co-Director of the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ke Nghia – Vice Chairman of the Sub-Union of the Faculty of Business Administration; along with comrades from the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of the University Trade Union, and notably the presence of 13 officials and employees of the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training who were honored to be admitted into the Vietnam Trade Union.

At the program, Comrade Le Thuy Linh, representing the 13 officials and employees admitted, read the application for joining the Vietnam Trade Union. On behalf of the Executive Committee of the National Economics University Trade Union, Dr. Le Viet Thuy – Member of the University Trade Union Executive Committee announced the decision to admit new union members and the decision to establish the sub-union at the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training, marking a new development in the construction of the University’s Trade Union organization.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Dong – Chairman of the University Trade Union delivers the assignment speech

In his assignment speech, Dr. Nguyen Huu Dong – Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Trade Union, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, Chairman of the National Economics University Trade Union stated that the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training has a history dating back to 1992. Due to its unique nature as a collaboration between the Vietnamese and French governments, the establishment of a union organization at the Center has been a matter of concern and consideration by the Center and University leadership for many years. Now that the necessary conditions, particularly the legal framework, have been completed, the National Economics University Trade Union officially admits the officials and employees of the Center into the Vietnam Trade Union and establishes the sub-union at the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training under the University Trade Union.

Dr. Nguyen Huu Dong emphasized that the admission of new union members and the establishment of the sub-union at the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training is an important milestone in the development of the University’s trade union organization. He expressed his hope that the Center’s leadership will continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the sub-union to quickly stabilize its organization, effectively implement assigned tasks, promote its role in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and employees, and actively contribute to the overall activities of the National Economics University Trade Union.

In her speech upon assuming duties, Comrade Trinh Huyen Dieu Linh – Interim Chairperson of the Division Union of the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training expressed her honor and emotion as the center’s officials and employees were officially admitted into the Vietnam Trade Union and the Division Union of the Center was established. She affirmed that this is a significant milestone, providing opportunities for employees to participate in union activities, receive care, and have their legitimate rights and interests protected. On behalf of the union members, she committed to strictly adhering to the Vietnam Trade Union Charter, actively participating in movements and activities initiated by the University Union; and together with the union members, building a stronger Division Union of the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training, contributing to the overall development of the National Economics University.

In his speech at the ceremony, Dr. Truong Tuan Anh – Co-Director of the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee, University Directorate, and the Trade Union of the National Economics University for their attention and for organizing a solemn ceremony to admit the center’s officials and employees into the Vietnam Trade Union and establish the Division Union of the Center. According to Dr. Truong Tuan Anh, this is an important milestone, marking a new phase of development for the Center in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees. He committed to closely coordinating with the Division Union of the Center to effectively fulfill professional duties, while actively participating in union activities, contributing to the overall development of the University Union.

After a period of serious and effective work, the Ceremony for Admitting New Union Members and Announcing the Decision to Establish the Division Union of the Hanoi French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training successfully completed its agenda. The admission of 13 new union members and the establishment of the Division Union of the Center not only contribute to expanding the organization and developing the union member team of the National Economics University Trade Union but also create new motivation and momentum for union activities in the future, aiming to build a stronger union organization that meets the university’s development requirements in the new phase.
