IMD@NEU Program Participants Experience a Memorable Field Trip at UWE Bristol (UK): Celebrating 15 Years of Collaboration and Elevating International Knowledge
As part of the annual activities aimed at enhancing global academic and practical experiences, the participants of the International Master’s Program IMD@NEU completed a meaningful 2-week Field Trip (from July 20 to July 31) at UWE Bristol (United Kingdom). This year’s trip notably marks the 15th anniversary of the strategic partnership between the National Economics University and UWE Bristol, offering participants the first-time opportunity to attend an international academic conference and present scientific research posters directly.
Celebrating 15 Years of NEU – UWE Bristol Collaboration and New Academic Advances
The Field Trip program is an indispensable part of the IMD@NEU Master’s curriculum, demonstrating the strong commitment of NEU and the Institute of International Education (ISME) to enhancing the quality of education to international standards, with a focus on real-world experiences for learners.
The highlight of this year’s journey is the joint NEU – UWE International Conference (NEU-UWE Conference: Global Innovation, Digital Futures and Sustainability). The event vividly exemplifies the enduring strategic partnership that has spanned 15 years between the two institutions.

IMD@NEU Participants Confidently Present at the Conference
At the international conference, IMD@NEU participants not only served as delegates but also actively participated in presenting scientific research posters (Poster Presentations). This is a unique academic opportunity for participants to publish in-depth research findings, engage in direct dialogue, and receive valuable feedback and advice from leading professors and experts from UWE Bristol and NEU.

Profound Significance of the 2-Week Field Trip Experience
Instead of being confined to theoretical frameworks in the classroom, the 2-week Field Trip in the UK was designed with a diverse blend of in-depth academics, practical business insights, and cultural exchanges, providing practical value to the participants:
Elevating Management Thinking & Accessing Modern Analytical Technology
Students have the opportunity to directly engage in practical experiences at the Bloomberg Room of the Bristol Business School – a place to access standard global economic and financial data. A series of in-depth lectures on International Marketing & Branding, Business in the UK, and Critical Writing help students broaden their strategic vision and equip themselves with modern management thinking.
