Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Party Secretary, President of the National Economics University, delivers a speech
In his speech at the Inauguration Ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Party Secretary, President of the National Economics University, expressed his joy as the University continues to welcome back alumni and former students in a training program specifically designed for business leaders and executives. According to the President, throughout its 70-year journey of establishment and development, the National Economics University has always been proud of its generations of learners who have matured, affirmed their capabilities, and achieved significant success in the business world. More commendably, many entrepreneurs, after achieving success, have maintained their connection with the University, actively contributing resources, sharing experiences, and accompanying the development of succeeding generations.
Emphasizing the unique aspects of the training program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho stated that the program is designed with the direct involvement of successful entrepreneurs who are alumni of the National Economics University. Instead of organizing it in a traditional classroom model, the University aims to build a practical exchange forum where experienced entrepreneurs can share knowledge, management lessons, and experiences accumulated during their business operations.
Here, each participant not only receives experiences from predecessors but also contributes their own perspectives and experiences. Through exchanges and discussions on current business challenges, participants have the opportunity to reassess management activities, seek appropriate solutions, and apply them in leading and managing their units in an increasingly competitive environment.
The Rector also expressed his expectation that, in addition to the knowledge and experiences shared, the course will foster strong relationships among participants, expand collaboration opportunities within the business community, and strengthen connections between alumni and the University. This is also one of the values that the National Economics University aims to cultivate through training and development activities for leaders and managers.
Notably, the training course commenced on Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, October 13, adding further significance to the program for the entrepreneurial community, including alumni and students of the National Economics University. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho extended his congratulations to the participants, wishing them health, happiness, and continued success in their careers. The University Director also expressed sincere gratitude to the entrepreneurs, faculty members, and experts who have accompanied and shared their knowledge and practical experience. He acknowledged the efforts of the Center for Continuing Education and the collaborating units in the development and organization of the course.
