National Economics University Attends Admissions Counseling Day in Nghe An

On the morning of January 11, 2025, a delegation from National Economics University (NEU), led by Dr. Le Anh Duc, Head of the Department of Academic Affairs, attended the admissions and career counseling program organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper at Vinh University in Nghe An Province.

NEU faculty, staff, and students attend the program.

The program was organized by the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and Tuoi Tre newspaper in coordination with the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, and Vinh University, with support from Vingroup.

This marked the program’s 23rd year and its 10th time in Nghe An. It was also an important educational event, attracting large numbers of high school students, parents, and educational institutions seeking information.

The 2025 admissions and career counseling program took place in the first year that students would take the high school graduation examination under the 2018 General Education Curriculum, with numerous changes to examination content leading to certain changes in university and college admissions.

NEU faculty, staff, and students enthusiastically answer school students’ questions at the program.

To provide parents and students with comprehensive information about this year’s examination, representatives from the leadership teams of NEU units, along with University faculty and staff attending the program, directly addressed concerns and questions about choosing majors and careers suited to students’ abilities and their families’ financial circumstances. This helped students make better educational choices aligned with future employment trends.

In addition to asking the advisory panel questions, parents and students attending the admissions and career counseling program had the opportunity to obtain information from educational institutions at more than 70 counseling booths within the program.

At these booths, students can meet and speak directly with representatives of institutions they are interested in and learn about study conditions, scholarships, tuition fees, and dormitories. Students can also find information about studying abroad and international joint academic programs at institutions in Vietnam and overseas.
