On the morning of March 22, 2025, National Economics University (NEU), in collaboration with the University of Finance – Marketing, held the opening ceremony for the second 2025 intake of the NEU E-Learning distance education program in southern Vietnam.

On behalf of NEU’s leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President, congratulated the 342 new learners from southern Vietnam on officially joining NEU’s second intake of 2025.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong briefly introduced the history and development of NEU. He also expressed his pleasure in informing learners of the Prime Minister’s recent Decision to transition NEU to its new university status, marking an important milestone in the University’s development strategy.

The Vice President also introduced academic programs whose quality has been assessed and accredited by reputable accreditation organizations worldwide, such as ACBSP and FIBAA, with 100% of criteria meeting or exceeding standards. This demonstrates the University’s commitment to ensuring the quality of teaching and education in accordance with international standards.

Addressing the new learners, Assoc. Speaking at the ceremony, new learner Bui Thuy Nhien shared: “At this moment marking a new journey, we are deeply moved and proud to officially become students of NEU. We are even prouder that our cohort will witness the University’s 70th anniversary, and we hope to attend the celebration.”
