Speaking at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, noted that National Economics University (NEU) was founded nearly 70 years ago and has continued to develop ever since. Over those 70 years, the University has established itself as one of the leading institutions for education in economics, management and business administration. In particular, in recent years, NEU has recorded many achievements in educational quality accreditation and rankings. In institutional accreditation, the University received certification from FIBAA (Germany) for meeting and exceeding standards, with 100% of criteria meeting or exceeding standards. In academic program accreditation, NEU has had 21 programs accredited by ACBSP of the United States and 15 programs accredited by FIBAA of Germany. The University is currently finalizing documentation for 20 programs, which are expected to undergo further evaluation and accreditation by FIBAA in the coming period. These achievements affirm its leading position in Vietnam’s higher education system and its standing as the university with the largest number of programs accredited by international organizations.
Addressing applicants seeking admission in 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong said that students entering university should pursue three goals: acquiring knowledge, developing skills and building the capacity for autonomy. NEU has all the resources needed to support students in achieving these goals.
With highly qualified lecturers who have received rigorous training abroad, extensive facilities and Library learning resources, and modern teaching methods, NEU offers a supportive environment for students to achieve these goals. In addition to the skills taught by lecturers in class, NEU also takes pride in having some of the most vibrant mass organization activities and student movements in the country. As NEU students, they can fully immerse themselves in group activities that help them develop their skills to the fullest. The University will also equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to enter the world of work with confidence.
At the program, representatives of NEU units also provided advice and answered applicants’ questions about the 2025 admissions plan, the University’s academic programs, employment opportunities after graduation and other topics.

“A Day as a National Economics University Student” is an experiential program designed to give high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves directly in the learning and research environment at NEU, helping them choose fields of study and future careers suited to their abilities.
By participating in the program, students can tour one of today’s most modern university classroom complexes, learn about NEU’s nearly 70-year history and traditions, and receive advice on its bachelor’s programs.
In addition, high school students can interact, share experiences, and exchange ideas with current University students, and take a test to identify fields of study suited to their strengths. Through these activities, they can choose fields of study and future careers that match their abilities.
Notably, in 2025, students taking part in the experiential program also had the opportunity to take a free IELTS practice test, helping them become familiar with the test and accurately assess their abilities.
