National Economics University Participates in the 2025 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair
On the morning of March 16, 2025, the 2025 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair, organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, took place at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. This was the largest edition of the fair to date, with nearly 300 counseling booths representing more than 100 educational institutions nationwide. The delegation from National Economics University (NEU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, directly oversaw the organization of counseling for prospective students and their parents.

Thousands of students and parents attended the 2025 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair in Hanoi on the morning of March 16.
The 2025 Admissions and Career Guidance Fair was jointly organized by Tuoi Tre newspaper, the Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with support from Vingroup.
This is the first year that students will take the high school graduation examination under the 2018 General Education Curriculum, with numerous changes to the regulations governing the high school graduation examination and university and college admissions. These changes at such an important juncture have inevitably left many students and parents with concerns and questions.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, directly oversaw the organization of admissions counseling for prospective students and their parents.
At this year’s fair, NEU’s admissions counseling area comprised 15 booths, with participation from members of the Admissions Advisory Committee, academic faculties and institutes, and faculty experts who advised prospective students on admissions methods and the University’s majors and academic programs expected to accept applications in 2025.
In addition to providing counseling information, NEU prepared special small gifts for prospective students, along with a range of other engaging mini-game activities.

NEU’s admissions counseling area consistently attracted considerable interest from parents and students.
Nguyen Dang Linh Huong, a 12th-grade student at Bac Giang High School for the Gifted (Bac Giang), attended with a group of five and said she had to catch a bus early to get to the fair. There, faculty members provided her with detailed advice on majors, foreign language requirements, and career directions. After receiving counseling, she and her friends were very interested in NEU because many of its majors offer study-abroad scholarships and opportunities to pursue a master’s degree abroad.
“The faculty members also reminded my friends and me to make specific study plans and set step-by-step goals to gain admission to the University. Although we have an advantage in foreign languages, they advised us to keep improving our skills so we can use them effectively in our studies later on. I was also added to social media groups to receive advice from senior students, alumni, and faculty members,” Huong shared.
Le Quoc Huy, a 12th-grade student at Phu Ly C High School in Ha Nam, shared that he was still quite uncertain about choosing a major and did not yet know which field or career would suit him. He attended the fair that day to clarify his goals and make the most appropriate choice of major and institution by seeking advice directly from faculty members.
