In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong shared that the University has always sought closer coordination among its units in student management. In particular, faculty members serving as academic advisors play an extremely important role, not only in helping students establish a clear direction for their studies but also in supporting and guiding them so that they can continue and complete their academic programs with the best possible results.

Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong also emphasized that NEU will always support students and provide the best possible conditions for them to complete their academic programs. However, alongside the University’s support, students also need to take the initiative, develop well-structured study plans, and make use of available support channels to achieve the best possible results. Assoc. Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, expressed his hope that, with the attention and support of the units and, especially, students’ own efforts, the University would achieve its goal of reducing the proportion of students exceeding the program duration while further improving the quality of learning and education at NEU.

Participants also exchanged views, heard proposals, and learned from the experiences of the units to coordinate the implementation of more effective student support measures in the time ahead.

It is hoped that, through the conference, the units will agree on a common approach and work together to develop practical support measures that help students complete their academic programs according to their study plans and improve the quality of learning and education at the University.
