Colonel Ha Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Center for National Defense and Security Education, speaks

Discussing students’ education, daily life, and health, Colonel Ha Manh Hung, Deputy Director of the Center for National Defense and Security Education, said that the Center consistently works closely with relevant departments to develop a curriculum with a reasonable, well-structured schedule to ensure effective learning for students.

Regarding daily life, the Center regularly monitors each student’s situation through daily reports from platoons. This enables it to understand students’ concerns and aspirations, promptly answer their questions, and provide support so they can focus on their studies and training with peace of mind.

In particular, the Center places a strong emphasis on health care. Every day, military medical personnel and company commanders check each student’s health to ensure that all students remain healthy and safe as they continue their studies and training in a military environment.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU, offers encouragement and talks with students

Speaking with students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong emphasized that participating in national defense and security education is not only an obligation but also an opportunity for students to change and mature in their thinking, conduct, routines, and discipline. It is also a very positive experience that develops their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and health while helping them better understand the military environment. Through this experience, they will further appreciate the values of life and recognize the hardships and difficulties faced by soldiers who protect the country’s borders and islands day and night.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong also expressed his delight at seeing how quickly and well students had adapted after spending some time in a military environment: “I am very pleased to see that you have found your rhythm and adapted so well. This not only helps you mature but also develops many skills, positive qualities, and solidarity. Strive to overcome difficulties and challenges through effort and determination. Uphold the spirit and pride of wearing a soldier’s uniform and embodying the conduct of Uncle Ho’s soldiers. I hope that, through this national defense and security education course, you will better understand the responsibilities of each individual and citizen in fulfilling their duties to their country and family.”
