Speaking at the launch and opening ceremony for the AIKiP Knowledge Programming Station, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President of NEU, shared that amid rapid technological development, acquiring technological knowledge and skills is not only a trend but also the key to opening doors to the future. “The AIKiP Knowledge Programming Station was established with the mission of creating a pioneering learning space that nurtures knowledge and fuels the passions of future generations. This is part of NEU’s commitment to continuous innovation and leadership in education and digital transformation.

“Today’s opening of the AIKiP Knowledge Programming Station not only marks a new step forward in NEU’s digitization efforts but also clearly demonstrates the University’s strategic direction toward modernizing education, strengthening learners’ technological capabilities, and keeping pace with the demands of the times.”

On behalf of the University’s leadership, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong thanked iGroup for its continued support of NEU and expressed his hope that iGroup would remain a close and trusted partner in building an advanced learning environment that enables students to access modern knowledge as conveniently and effectively as possible.

“We expect the AIKiP Knowledge Programming Station to become a prominent feature of students’ creative space, attracting not only NEU students but also serving as a hub for connections with universities and academic partners in Vietnam and abroad,” Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong affirmed.

Ngo To Hoa, Country Director of iGroup Vietnam, delivers remarks

Representing iGroup Vietnam, Ngo To Hoa explained that, in response to students’ aspirations, AIKiP Station was created to address the reality that many young people want access to credible, highly practical learning resources but lack the means. The Knowledge Programming Station (AIKiP Station) is a space designed to foster learning within the Library, integrating modern technology to meet diverse needs and enhance users’ service experience.

“AIKiP Station is more than just a corner of a library. We aspire to create practical educational value through digital transformation at higher education institutions—a Knowledge Programming Station that accompanies generations of Vietnamese students on their journey to unlock their own potential.

Working with university libraries, iGroup Vietnam hopes AIKiP Station will serve as a bridge that brings Vietnamese students to new shores of knowledge, helping them acquire a solid foundation of knowledge across a broad range of fields.”

Ngo To Hoa also expressed confidence that AIKiP Station would both be the key to helping the University’s Library fulfill its role to the fullest and play a pivotal part in helping the University accomplish its mission of training high-quality human resources and nurturing talent for the country. Through AIKiP Station, iGroup Vietnam not only helps students access high-quality learning materials but also helps them develop the soft skills needed in real-world workplaces, providing a springboard for future career success.

“In the future, we hope to see more Knowledge Programming Stations open, bringing even more opportunities for students to develop the modern mindset and lifestyle of global citizens, gradually affirm their own worth, and freely pursue their legitimate aspirations for happiness,” Ngo To Hoa shared.

Designed to pioneer digital transformation in libraries and turn them into comprehensive spaces, AIKiP Station was created to meet students’ diverse needs for learning, research, development, and recreation. Most importantly, AIKiP Station seeks to enhance Vietnamese students’ ability to adapt to today’s internationally integrated work environment. Information technology will therefore be central to helping students learn more proactively, productively, and effectively.

The Station comprises: a seminar and talk show area with a stage equipped with a screen, sound and lighting systems, and sections with circular table arrangements to facilitate student events; a study area with spaces for individual or group study; a relaxation area where students can rest, with basic amenities including a refreshment counter and lounge seating; and a reading area with book displays covering a variety of general-interest topics to meet students’ recreational reading needs.
