IBD Open Day 2025 – Exploring International-Standard Learning Pathways at NEU

On the morning of July 20, 2025, IBD Open Day 2025, organized by the Institute of International Education (ISME), took place in a formal, lively, and energetic atmosphere at the A2 Grand Hall of National Economics University (NEU). This was an important event in the admissions activities for the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program, aimed at building connections and sharing accurate, comprehensive information with school students and parents interested in an international-standard academic program right here in Vietnam.

At the start of the event, parents and school students heard an overview of IBD@NEU—a joint academic program between NEU and reputable universities in the United Kingdom and the United States. Representatives of the Institute of International Education’s leadership presented detailed information on learning pathways, admissions requirements, majors, tuition fees, international transfer opportunities, and the competitive advantages IBD students gain when entering the global labor market.

Parents and school students attending the event heard detailed presentations on the academic programs currently delivered and managed by the Institute of International Education—the IBD@NEU International Bachelor’s Program offered in partnership with reputable universities in the United Kingdom and the United States. Information on Fall 2025 admissions was also presented clearly and comprehensively, covering majors, study pathways, international partners, tuition fees, and the accompanying ecosystem of experiential activities. This gave parents and school students a comprehensive understanding to help them make the most suitable choice for their future learning journey.

An introduction to the Institute of International Education

Also at the event, two Institute of International Education students currently studying on a transfer program at Boise State University in the United States had the opportunity to share their study-abroad journeys. Through candid and inspiring accounts, they offered a vivid perspective on their learning journeys—from adapting to and studying in an international environment to the opportunities for exceptional growth that come with becoming part of a global student community. These real-life stories not only helped school students at the event envision their future pathways more clearly but also motivated them to step beyond their comfort zones and reach further.

A particular highlight of IBD Open Day 2025 was the series of subject-specific taster classes led directly by lecturers with extensive practical experience. Taster classes in Banking & Finance, Marketing, Management, and Academic English gave school students a clearer initial picture of ISME’s learning environment, teaching methods, and dynamic academic atmosphere.
