The seminar “Information on International Joint Programs at Vietnam’s Leading University—NEU” drew a large turnout of BUC students and parents in Myanmar.

On the afternoon of August 2, 2025, the seminar “Information on International Joint Programs at Vietnam’s Leading University—National Economics University” attracted considerable interest from BUC parents and students in Yangon, Myanmar. The event marked a strategic step forward in efforts to internationalize Vietnam’s higher education, while opening up opportunities to access global knowledge for Myanmar students—young citizens aspiring to reach out to the world.

The educational model at the Institute of International Education combines theory with practical projects, helping students develop skills for working in a global environment. Students also have opportunities to transfer to partner universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and many other countries. The learning environment at the Institute of International Education is also highly internationalized, with a wide range of vibrant academic and extracurricular activities that enable students to develop both their knowledge and skills comprehensively.

A BUC lecturer shared impressions of a previous study experience in Vietnam: “I pursued graduate studies in Vietnam and was deeply impressed by both the people and the study conditions there. Not only did I have a wonderful learning experience in Vietnam, but I also grew very fond of the hospitable, friendly Vietnamese people. I always received enthusiastic support from friends and lecturers throughout my studies in Hanoi. I hope that in the near future, our students will have the opportunity to experience studying in an environment that meets international standards in Vietnam at a highly affordable cost.”

In the coming period, similar engagement activities will continue in strategic markets such as Uzbekistan, Thailand, and Indonesia. The Institute of International Education hopes to soon welcome more outstanding young people from Myanmar—new representatives of a generation of global citizens who are confident, resilient, and ready to integrate. This also demonstrates the Institute’s ongoing efforts to provide an international educational environment right in Vietnam, where students from around the world can learn and develop together and share the value of knowledge across all geographical boundaries.
