Speaking at the opening ceremony for the seventh intake in 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, President of NEU, congratulated and welcomed the 400 new learners as they officially joined the NEU E-Learning program. He affirmed that this was an important milestone as the learners joined Vietnam’s leading university in economics, management, and business administration.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, over nearly 70 years of development, NEU has established itself as a reputable national center for education, research, and policy consulting. Under its new development strategy, the University aims to become one of Vietnam’s five leading multidisciplinary research universities and rank among Asia’s top 100 universities in economics, management, and business administration.

Recently, the University was honored to receive institutional quality accreditation from FIBAA, an international education quality accreditation organization. FIBAA is one of Europe’s leading accreditation organizations and a member of ENQA and INQAAHE. This recognition helps affirm the University’s reputation and the quality of its education and research on the international stage.

Emphasizing the role of digital transformation in education, the President affirmed that the distance education program delivered through E-learning is a strategic step in the University’s educational innovation process and puts its “learner-centered” philosophy into practice. With a modern, flexible, and user-friendly online learning system, NEU provides a quality learning environment that enables learners to choose when and where they study, making it particularly suitable for working professionals and learners living far away.

According to the President, applying information technology in teaching and learning is no longer a trend but an essential requirement. It helps improve educational quality and expand access to knowledge for everyone, anytime and anywhere, in keeping with the spirit of a university pioneering digital transformation in education.

On this occasion, NEU’s leadership expressed gratitude to the faculty and staff and the partners who have supported the program, while thanking the new learners and their families for trusting and choosing NEU E-Learning as a companion on their journey to acquire knowledge and pursue personal development.
