NEU Cohort 33 Celebrates 30 Years Since Graduation: The Spirit of “When We Were 20” Lives On

On November 29, 2025, under clear skies and in the warm atmosphere of the year-end season, hundreds of alumni from Cohort 33 of National Economics University (NEU) returned to campus to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their graduation (1995–2025). The cohort reunion marked three decades of growth, with memories of “When We Were 20” still vivid in every heart.

A view of the event

Cohort 33 was a generation of students who came of age as the country underwent profound changes driven by Doi Moi reforms. Graduating in 1995—when Vietnam entered a period of market economy development and extensive international integration—Cohort 33 alumni became an important force contributing to the reform and development of the national economy.
