On the evening of December 26, National Economics University (NEU) held its 2025 Dialogue Between University Leaders and Students in Auditorium A2.
This annual event provides a forum for open, direct exchanges between University leaders and students, enabling leaders to listen to, receive, and promptly address comments and recommendations concerning students’ studies, personal development, and daily lives. It also helps strengthen connections and support while continually improving the quality of education at the University.

An overview of the dialogue
Attending the dialogue were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, President of NEU; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President of NEU; MSc. Nguyen Hoang Ha, Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Management, which served as the standing coordinating unit; leadership representatives from schools, departments, faculties, institutes, and centers; representatives of the Youth Union Standing Committee and the Student Association; and students designated to attend.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, President of NEU, delivers remarks
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong affirmed that NEU always places students at the center of all its development strategies and continually strives to build a modern, humane, and creative learning environment where every student can fully realize their individual potential.
According to the President, the foundation of knowledge, skills, and values students acquire at NEU will equip them with the resilience and confidence to enter the skilled labor market amid today’s intense competition and rapid change.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong also expressed his appreciation for and recognition of students’ frank, responsible contributions at the dialogue. He encouraged them to continue proactively and openly sharing issues directly affecting their rights and learning conditions. These contributions provide an important basis for the University and its functional units to promptly review and refine solutions and address shortcomings, thereby continually improving the quality of education and providing the best possible learning conditions for students in all circumstances.

MSc. Nguyen Hoang Ha, Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Management, presents a consolidated report on responses to students’ comments and proposals following the faculty/institute-level dialogues
Following more than a month of coordinated dialogue activities at the class and faculty/institute levels, most issues of concern to students had been discussed, clarified, and addressed promptly. Building on these efforts, the University-level dialogue was held to continue receiving and resolving outstanding matters and to clarify issues students still faced concerning education, management, and learner services during the past academic year and at present.
During the faculty/institute-level dialogues, academic units and representatives of functional departments directly discussed and addressed most student questions and proposals in a specific, frank, and practical manner. These responses largely met students’ legitimate wishes and aspirations, while providing an important foundation for the University-level dialogue to focus on broader issues and directions for long-term solutions, contributing to continual improvements in the quality of education and the learning environment at the University.
