On the afternoon of December 28, 2025, National Economics University (NEU) held the 36th meeting of its University Council for the 2021–2026 term in 2025, with both in-person and online participation. At the meeting, the University Council heard reports and discussed numerous important matters concerning the University’s governance, management, and future development directions. Among these, the Council reviewed the Appraisal Council’s report on the proposal for in-principle approval of the investment project to construct Multipurpose Building ĐT.5 in Zone 1 of NEU at 207 Giai Phong.

The Council also discussed and provided feedback on key tasks for 2026, while reviewing the report on the implementation of the 2025 work plan and the 2025 year-end report in connection with the implementation of key tasks for 2026.

The meeting also included discussions and feedback on the draft 2026 work plan, the University-wide financial plan for 2026, the report evaluating the operation of the NEU model, and a proposal to introduce a master’s degree program in a new field of study. In addition, the Council heard the report reviewing the 2021–2026 term and discussed several other matters within its authority.
