In 2025, the short-term training activities of the National Economics University were implemented in the context of a strong increase in the demand for lifelong learning and professional skill enhancement. Concurrently, the University gradually completed the legal framework and management processes according to new regulations. Short-term training activities were organized at 8 core units, with a scale of approximately 7,400 learners, affirming that short-term training continues to be an important channel in fulfilling the University’s mission of community service and knowledge transfer.

The training programs are increasingly diverse, including professional development, training according to professional standards, as per the orders of enterprises and localities, as well as new fields associated with data science, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. The organization of training and the issuance of certificates and certifications have been standardized, ensuring the legal validity, transparency, and reputation of the National Economics University.

Alongside the positive results, the report also highlighted some challenges such as the disparity in scale and effectiveness among units, increased competitive pressure, the sustainability of admissions, and some procedural and mechanism-related issues. Based on this, in 2026, short-term training activities are oriented towards in-depth development, linked with digital transformation, innovation, and serving the private economic sector. Additionally, there is a focus on perfecting management mechanisms, enhancing quality, expanding collaboration with enterprises and localities, contributing to affirming the role and reputation of the National Economics University in training and developing human resources for society.
