In the bustling atmosphere of welcoming Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, on January 29, the National Economics University organized a meeting with Security and Press collaborators, showing deep respect, connection, and gratitude to the security and press agencies that have always accompanied and closely coordinated with the University throughout the years.<\/em>

The meeting is not only an occasion for early-year sharing and connection but also reinforces the important role of coordination between the University with functional agencies and media in ensuring security, spreading the image, reputation, and core values of the National Economics University.

Attendees at the meeting included, on the security side: comrade Nguyen Tien Thang – Head of Department PA.03, Hanoi City Police; comrade Nguyen Khanh Ly – Head of Education Team PA.03, Hanoi City Police; comrade Nguyen Chi Vien – Deputy Head of Bạch Mai Ward Police. On the press and media side were: journalist Ta Quang Dung – Head of Culture – Society Department, Nhan Dan Newspaper; journalist Nguyen Xuan Long – Head of Education Department, Vietnamnet Newspaper; journalist Vu Thi Hong Hanh – Editorial Secretary, People’s Representative Electronic Newspaper; journalist Tran Anh Duc – Editorial Secretary, Education & Times Newspaper; along with representatives of journalists, reporters, security and media collaborators, television.

On the side of the National Economics University were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Party Secretary; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – University Director; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu – Deputy University Director; Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat – Chairman of the Scientific & Training Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Chairman of the Advisory Council; Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong – former University Director; along with representatives of leaders from Schools, Departments, Faculties, Institutes, Centers, and political-social organizations within the University.

In his speech at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – University Director expressed joy and gratitude in welcoming representatives from security and media agencies in the vibrant atmosphere of celebrating Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, a period when units have significant workloads. The full presence of the delegates was seen by the University Director as a great encouragement to the university’s leadership, staff, and faculty.

Sharing about the results of activities in 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong stated that the University had accomplished major political and professional missions, including student recruitment, education, scientific research, and policy consultation. Notably, in 2025, the National Economics University successfully organized important events, including the Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and the reinforcement of the leadership team. Major activities of the University occurred as planned, safely, efficiently, and with strong cooperation and support from security and media agencies.

Emphasizing the significance of 2026, the University Director noted that this is the year the National Economics University will implement a series of activities towards the 70th anniversary since its founding. Kicking off this event series, the University unveiled a new brand identity, reflecting creativity and development. From now until the official anniversary celebration, many activities will be organized at the University, faculty/institute, and affiliate levels, attracting wide attention from society, learners, and academics both nationally and internationally.

“The University hopes to continue receiving the companionship, support, and trust of security and media agencies to ensure the events of 2026 are successfully, safely, and positively conducted,” the University Director emphasized.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong sincerely thanked the effective contribution and support of the media and press agencies in disseminating the image, reputation, and achievements of the National Economics University; at the same time, he affirmed that the University is always ready to coordinate, listen to advice and suggestions to enhance communication quality and organize future events.

On behalf of the University’s teaching staff, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong extended New Year greetings to all delegates, staff, reporters, and their families, wishing them health, happiness, and success; expressing hope that the security, media, and National Economics University will continue to accompany and successfully fulfill tasks in the new year 2026.

Affirming the accompanying role of the press and the Police in ensuring security and order, comrade Nguyễn Tiến Thắng expresses the desire for the National Economics University to continue supporting, coordinating, sharing information and experiences, especially in the context of strong digital transformation.
