On January 31, 2026, the National Economics University, in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Quang Trung commune (Bac Ninh province), organized a training conference on the topic “Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI skills in work for officials and employees of Quang Trung commune”.

The conference is a practical and meaningful activity, demonstrating the high political determination of local Party committees and authorities in promoting the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation. Through the training program, artificial intelligence is gradually being integrated to support management, administration, and task execution, contributing to improving the efficiency of local government operations in the new era.

Attending the conference, on behalf of Quang Trung commune were: Comrade Nguyen Xuan Tuyen – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of the commune; Comrade Nguyen Thi Nguyet – Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Council of the commune; Comrade Duong Van Long – Member of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the commune; along with more than 200 officials, civil servants, and employees from Party-affiliated agencies and units under the People’s Committee of the commune; and the management staff and teachers of schools in the commune.

Representing the National Economics University were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Minh Hoang – Head of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, School of Technology; Dr. Tran Hung – Head of the Communication and Data Technology Research Group, in charge of short-term training programs; Dr. Tran Duc Minh – Deputy Head of the Research Group, Director of short-term training programs; and Ms. Ngo Thai Hoa – Lecturer in the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence.

In his opening remarks and orientation at the conference, Comrade Duong Van Long – Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of the commune – emphasized: This training conference is a concrete step in implementing the policies and resolutions of the Central Government, the Province, and the locality on the development of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and is also an important prerequisite for improving the quality of grassroots government operations in the context of the rapidly unfolding Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The comrade affirmed that artificial intelligence (AI) is no longer a distant concept, but has become a powerful tool to support management, administration, advisory work, report compilation, document processing, administrative procedure reform, and education. The effective application of AI will contribute to shortening work processing time, increasing labor productivity, improving the quality of service to the people, and meeting the demands of the new situation.

In addition, the comrade also requested that the officials and employees attending the conference uphold a high sense of responsibility, seriously absorb knowledge, proactively research, select and apply AI tools suitable for each field of work; at the same time, he noted that the use of AI must strictly adhere to administrative discipline and regulations, ensure information security and cybersecurity, and absolutely not leak state secrets and personal data of citizens.

Associate Professor Dr. Ha Minh Hoang – Head of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, National Economics University, shared his insights at the conference.

At the conference, lecturers from the National Economics University presented an overview of artificial intelligence, development trends, and AI applications in public administration and education; guided participants on the skills needed to use several popular AI tools for drafting administrative documents, compiling reports, analyzing data, processing information, and supporting teaching; and shared many practical experiences and specific examples in the process of implementing digital technology in various agencies and units.

The training conference took place in a serious, lively, and effective atmosphere. Attendees actively exchanged ideas, discussed issues, asked questions, and shared difficulties and obstacles encountered in their practical work, thereby contributing to raising awareness and improving the application of artificial intelligence in their professional tasks.

Through this training program, officials, civil servants, and teachers in Quang Trung commune have been equipped with additional knowledge and skills in applying AI, gradually meeting the requirements of their tasks in the context of current digital transformation, aiming to build a modern, professional, transparent local government that serves the people even better.
