On June 9, 2026, the National Economics University held a Conference to implement the initial appointment process for the position of Vice President.

Attending the Conference, from the Ministry of Education and Training were: Comrade Le Dinh Nghi – Head of the Party Organization Committee, Director of the Personnel Department. From the National Economics University were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Party Secretary, President of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – Vice President of the University; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu – Vice President of the University; along with comrades in the University Party Committee; political and social organizations; Heads of affiliated units, Secretaries of the Party Committees/Branches of the affiliated units.
