Contemporary Issues in Economics, Management and Business
“CONTEMPORARY ISSUES IN ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT AND BUSINESS” 8^th CIEMB 2025

To provide opportunities for domestic and international researchers, scholars, and managers to exchange and share information, discuss and publish scientific research, and share experience in fields related to economics, management, and business, NEU and the Australian National University (ANU) are jointly organizing the eighth international conference on “Contemporary Issues in Economics, Management and Business” (Contemporary Issues in Economics, Management and Business – 8^th CIEMB 2025). This is the largest international conference organized annually by NEU, and this year marks the eighth year of the conference series.

1. Conference Objectives

– The conference aims to create a forum where domestic and international scholars from various research fields in economics, management, and business can exchange ideas and present their research.

– The conference will provide a platform for debate on contemporary issues in these research fields, supporting strategies to promote global growth and sustainable development.

– The conference will expand opportunities for international cooperation in scientific research among universities in the region and worldwide.

2. Conference Dates and Venue

– Dates: November 27-28, 2025

– Venue: NEU, 207 Giai Phong, Hanoi.

3. Conference Participants

The conference will feature keynote speakers who are leading global economic experts in fields related to economics, management, and business, presenting and sharing their latest research.

The keynote speakers include:

– Prof. Shiro Armstrong, Australian National University, Australia;

– Prof. Arman Eshraghi, Cardiff University, United Kingdom;

– Dr. Jochen M. Schmittmann, International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos;

– Dr. Jonathan London, UNDP Vietnam;

The conference has attracted substantial interest from domestic and international scholars. Of the 154 research papers submitted, the Conference Organizing Committee selected 102 for publication in the conference proceedings and invited their authors to present at the conference. These researchers and scholars come from universities and research institutes across the country, as well as countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, India, South Korea, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Japan, the Philippines, France, Thailand, Australia, and Vietnam. The conference will feature 22 parallel sessions on specialized topics in economics, management, and business, chaired by leading economic experts from NEU and guest speakers from abroad.

In addition to the parallel sessions, there will be an Executive Workshop:

Executive Workshop: Experiences and Strategies to Publish in High Quality International Publications – Experiences and strategies for publishing in high-quality international publications.

Keynote speaker: Prof. Arman Eshraghi, Editor-in-Chief of International Review of Economics and Finance (SSCI, Scopus Q1, A-ABDC, ABS2)

Publication Opportunities in Affiliated ISI and SCOPUS Journals

All papers will be published in the conference proceedings with an International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
