Speaking at the ceremony, Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council at NEU, acknowledged the new Party members’ efforts to date, while emphasizing that this was only the first step in each Party member’s personal development. As probationary Party members, they must continue striving and developing themselves, not merely to become full Party members. More importantly, each Party member must remain steadfast in their convictions, maintain a spirit of self-improvement and faith in the Party throughout their future careers and lives, and strive toward the Party’s noble goals and ideals to build a prosperous, strong, equitable, democratic, and civilized Vietnam. The Secretary of the Party Committee also expressed his hope that this would be an important milestone for each new Party member, encouraging them to continue fulfilling their roles and responsibilities in cultivating themselves, pursuing personal development, striving, studying, and improving their political awareness and professional competence. These efforts would contribute to building a Party cell with integrity and strength and to the continued development of the University’s Party Organization.
Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee, also thanked the Management Board of the Ho Chi Minh Historical Site at the Presidential Palace for enabling NEU’s Party members to attend a Party admission ceremony at a historic location, an experience that filled all the new Party members with emotion and a sense of honor.

Nguyen Duc Nhan, Deputy Secretary of the NEU Youth Union and President of the Student Association, delivers remarks
As part of the ceremony, Bui Duc Tho, together with Party members and outstanding individuals, also offered flowers and incense to express their reverence and boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the great teacher of the Vietnamese revolution, the nation’s deeply beloved leader, and the founder of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Admission to the Party is not only an honor but also a powerful motivation and a responsibility for new Party members to continue studying and developing themselves to be worthy members of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The admission of 26 additional outstanding individuals into the Party reflects the Party cell’s tireless efforts to recruit new members and is a well-deserved outcome of the students’ unceasing efforts. The admission ceremony was even more special and meaningful because it was held in a solemn and reverent atmosphere at the Presidential Palace historical site, where beloved Uncle Ho lived, worked, and rests in peace. Young generations remain determined every day to study and follow his shining example of ethics and conduct. This is both an affirmation and a great responsibility that every young Party member must always take to heart and regard as a guiding principle at every step of the road ahead.
