We are proud that this year’s tournament carries additional humanitarian significance by reaching out to people facing hardship—in keeping with the NEU community’s spirit of ‘Solidarity – Responsibility – Spreading Love.’”

From a small amateur tournament initiated by a group of alumni, NEU Golf Championship has grown over nearly a decade into one of the leading, highly regarded golf events among Vietnamese universities.

“The tournament not only connects people who share an alma mater, but also reflects the dynamism, spirit of integration, and social responsibility of a generation of NEU entrepreneurs—people who are helping shape Vietnam’s knowledge economy,” shared Trinh Thanh Hung, President of the NEU Golf Club.

This year’s prize structure features many positive changes to make the tournament increasingly appealing

Launched in 2016, NEU Golf Championship has become the largest annual event of the NEU alumni community, as well as a symbol of connection among generations of NEUers—people who share a foundation of knowledge, sportsmanship, and social responsibility.

In 2025, the tournament holds special significance as it marks the 10th anniversary of the NEU Golfers network. According to the Organizing Committee, more than 200 golfers who are alumni and partners of the University from various provinces and cities will gather at Long Bien Golf Course to compete and connect.

Now entering its eighth edition, NEU Golf Championship has established itself as one of the most highly regarded sporting and cultural events within Vietnam’s university system.

More than a sporting opportunity, the tournament also provides an occasion to connect generations of NEU entrepreneurs and expand networks of cooperation across fields, helping build a dynamic, internationally engaged, and responsible community of NEUers.

This year, alongside the competition, NEU Golf Championship 2025 will organize a fundraising program to support people in northern provinces severely affected by Storms No. 10 and No. 11. The Organizing Committee plans to allocate part of the tournament’s operating budget and solicit direct donations to help people facing hardship, demonstrating the NEU business community’s spirit of sharing and social responsibility.
