It will also provide advice and develop a legal framework, implement uniform technical standards, and promote safe, transparent, and effective governance of the digital asset market, protecting users’ interests and supporting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s digital asset ecosystem. It will strengthen international cooperation, learn from experience, and expand cooperation in digital assets, blockchain, and modern financial technology.

The ceremony announcing the launch of the Vietnam Digital Assets Alliance

The Vietnam Digital Assets Alliance (DAVN) defines its guiding principle as: “Creating value for Vietnam’s sustainable development in the Digital Age.” With the motto “Connection – Innovation – Sharing – Safety – Transparency,” DAVN aims to build a closely collaborative community, promote digital technology applications, and develop a healthy digital asset ecosystem. The Alliance operates on the principles of respect for the rule of law, voluntary participation, cooperation, sharing, safety, transparency, standardization, effectiveness, and sustainable development. These form the foundation for all its programs, projects, and initiatives as it works alongside the Government and businesses in national digital transformation.

DAVN brings together experienced experts who have held leadership positions at major banks, technology corporations, securities companies, and reputable legal and media organizations. This multidisciplinary combination provides a solid foundation for DAVN to uphold its guiding principles, objectives, motto, and operating principles as it works alongside the Government and the business community.

DAVN’s main activities include: participating in the development of a legal framework, professional standards, and standardized, transparent regulations for members and Vietnam’s digital asset market; jointly organizing training for high-quality human resources to support the development of the digital asset ecosystem; disseminating knowledge and raising public awareness of digital assets; advancing research, technology development, and applications of blockchain and digital assets in socioeconomic sectors; promoting domestic and international cooperation in digital asset research, operations, and development; conducting independent or collaborative research to evaluate digital asset trading activities, analyze data, and develop forecasts, among other tasks; providing advice to protect the interests of DAVN members and end users while supporting the resolution of disputes and violations; and expanding DAVN’s membership domestically and internationally.

Joining DAVN not only offers opportunities to connect, share knowledge, and participate in in-depth training programs, but also helps members gain access to national pilot projects, protect their interests through a shared legal advisory mechanism, and contribute to the establishment of an international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City and a regional financial center in Da Nang.

To ensure sustainable development and professionalize its operations, DAVN plans to hold its first official General Assembly of Members in the first quarter of 2026, tentatively in March 2026 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Nguyen Dinh Thang, Chair of the Vietnam Digital Assets Alliance, delivers remarks

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Nguyen Dinh Thang, Chair of the Alliance, said: “Digital assets are not only an inevitable trend but also a bridge opening up opportunities for safe, transparent, effective, and sustainable development as Vietnam integrates globally in the Digital Age. Vietnam has many favorable opportunities to develop trading platforms and a digital asset ecosystem, but also faces difficulties, challenges, and risks that need to be addressed and managed effectively. The Vietnam Digital Assets Alliance (DAVN) was formed not only to keep pace with global trends in digital assets, but also to work alongside the Government in implementing Resolution 5/2025/NQ-CP. We believe that DAVN will contribute to creating a safe, transparent, standardized, and effective digital asset ecosystem that develops sustainably, successfully establishing an international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City and a regional financial center in Da Nang, and making Vietnam a trusted destination on the international financial and digital asset map.”
