National Economics University Participates in the 2025 University Admissions Preference Selection Fair
On July 19, 2025, National Economics University (NEU) participated in the 2025 University Admissions Preference Selection Fair, organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). Held at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the event attracted tens of thousands of 12th-grade students and parents from provinces and cities across northern Vietnam.
Leaders of the University directly oversaw the organization of admissions counseling for applicants and parents at the fair
Attending the fair were Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong, President of NEU; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong, Vice President of NEU; representatives of the leadership of the University’s schools, departments, faculties, institutes and centers; and University faculty, staff and students.
This year’s fair brought together more than 300 counseling booths from universities, colleges and study-abroad counseling centers in Vietnam and abroad. In addition to one-on-one counseling, applicants heard from experts from the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of National Defense and reputable educational institutions about how to identify, adjust and rank their admission review preferences effectively.
From the start of the event, NEU’s counseling booth drew considerable interest from applicants and parents. This reflected, in part, the appeal of NEU—one of the leading educational institutions in economics, management and business administration, and a choice on which many students have placed their hopes in this year’s admissions cycle. Beyond these fields, NEU is gradually expanding its educational capacity in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and data science. These efforts contribute to training a generation of highly qualified professionals to meet the demands of digital economic development and international integration, while also reflecting a trend toward choosing fields of study aligned with digital transformation and the modern labor market.

Participation in the fair is one of NEU’s annual admissions counseling activities. It not only helps provide applicants with official, comprehensive and timely admissions information during the period for adjusting and registering their preferences, but also clearly demonstrates the University’s commitment to supporting them on their journey to choose a suitable field of study and achieve their dream of attending university.
