Highlights of the program included an overview of the University, guidance on its academic programs and admissions information; an opportunity to experience being a university student and tour its friendly, modern learning spaces; and visits to the rooftop garden, Pham Van Dong Library, and the World Bank-funded electronic library shared by 45 universities in Vietnam. In particular, students also experienced a day as university students in the learning and living spaces of NEU, an institution with a history spanning more than 68 years.

The hands-on “A Day as a National Economics University Student” program helped high school students better understand the dynamic university environment and life as a university student. It also equipped them with useful knowledge about admissions and guidance on choosing academic programs and careers suited to them.

This was also an opportunity for them to gain further experience of student life and learning in university lecture halls—something they had never experienced before—to help them feel as prepared as possible to enter university and become university students.
