The partnership between Boise State University (BSU) and National Economics University (NEU) clearly demonstrates strong international cooperation in higher education over the past 30 years (1994-2024). Together, we designed and delivered the first MBA programs at NEU, and our partnership continued to grow with the Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management Pathway Program in 2019.
Today, I am honored and delighted to welcome you all to witness another milestone in our partnership: the workshop on “Internationalization of Higher Education: Best Practices in Research and Student Exchange Programs in Business and Economics.” Its objective is to expand knowledge of the dynamic landscape of internationalization in higher education in Vietnam and other countries, focusing on student exchanges, research collaboration among universities in the context of digitalization and globalization, and joint degree programs among universities.
In our increasingly interconnected world, the internationalization of higher education is a pathway to fostering global understanding, enhancing academic excellence, and preparing our students to thrive in a globalized economy. By integrating global perspectives into our curricula and research, we enrich the educational experience and contribute to developing well-rounded, globally competent graduates.
Today, we are fortunate to have a distinguished group of speakers and experts who have generously agreed to share their insights and experiences. Their contributions will cover a wide range of topics, including best practices in international research collaboration, effective student exchange programs, and innovative approaches to integrating global perspectives into business and economics education.
