In the late afternoon and evening of November 8, 2024, the Faculty of Insurance, College of Business, National Economics University (NEU), successfully held a welcome program for Cohort 66 new students with the theme “TIKTOPIA”.

The Faculty of Insurance’s “TIKTOPIA” welcome event for Cohort 66 new students took place in the auditorium of NEU’s Cultural Center.

Representing the sponsor at the program were Do Minh Hoang, Member of the Board of Directors of Agriculture Bank Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (ABIC); and Vu Thi Loan, Head of the Labor and Salary Division, Personnel Organization Department, ABIC.

Representing NEU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Tuan, Vice Rector of the College of Business; Dr. Nguyen Thi Chinh, Dean of the Faculty of Insurance and Vice Rector of the College of Business; MSc. In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Vice President of NEU, welcomed and congratulated the Cohort 66 new students on their outstanding performance in the 2024 national high school graduation exam and on officially becoming part of the Faculty of Insurance, College of Business, NEU family.

Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Hieu affirmed that faculty members of the Faculty of Insurance and NEU would support the students throughout their four years at the University, creating favorable conditions for them to study, acquire knowledge, and participate in activities to develop themselves.

The Vice President of NEU also noted that, beyond providing high-quality academic programs for learners and supporting and facilitating their comprehensive development, the Faculty of Insurance in particular, and the College of Business and NEU more broadly, would take the lead in connecting students with organizations and businesses. These connections would help students receive training support and practice professional skills, linking their theoretical learning with practice.

Speaking on behalf of the new students of the Faculty of Insurance, College of Business, Nguyen Ngoc Han, a Cohort 66 student majoring in Insurance, said she felt deeply proud and honored to study at NEU, a prestigious university and pioneer in economics education, and to join a dynamic learning environment that would provide a solid springboard for her future.
