National Economics University (NEU) announces admissions to its Executive MBA academic program, Cohort 14, 2024, for leaders of organizations, units, departments, sectors, corporations, businesses, and others, as follows:

1. Admissions Examination Rounds

Location: NEU.

2. Academic Program and Degree

• A modern, up-to-date academic program comparable to advanced Executive MBA programs worldwide, tailored to the context of Vietnam and highly practical.
• The learning process combines theoretical instruction and practice through group activities and seminars with international experts, senior managers, and leading Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
• Learners gain hands-on experience addressing real-world executive management issues at businesses and in localities in Vietnam and abroad.
• Modern learning facilities and equipment are available. Learners receive all materials before each course and are provided with lunch and refreshments during breaks on class days to enhance opportunities to discuss lessons, share experiences, and network.
• The program lasts two years and comprises 14 courses, two classroom-based thematic modules, two field-based thematic modules, and a graduation project.
• The academic program is delivered in Vietnamese.
• Graduates receive an Executive MBA degree from NEU in accordance with Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) regulations and are eligible to pursue doctoral studies.

3. Admissions quota: an expected 100 learners across two programs

• The Executive MBA academic program for business leaders, in the field of Business Administration.
• The Executive MBA academic program for leaders of state agencies and organizations, in the field of Economic Management.

4. Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must meet the following conditions:

• Applicants must have at least four years of practical work experience, including two years of management experience at the department, division, project, or equivalent level or higher in businesses, agencies, or organizations.
• Applicants holding a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in economics, administration, or management may apply without taking supplementary courses;
• Applicants holding degrees outside the fields listed above must complete five supplementary courses before the entrance examination: (1) Economics; (2) Business Administration; (3) Management; (4) Development Economics; (5) Monetary and Financial Theory.
• Foreign language requirement: Applicants must hold a certificate at Level 3 or higher under the six-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam. Accepted foreign languages are English, Russian, French, German, Chinese, and Japanese.

5. Admissions Assessment Method and Admission Requirements

The admissions assessment consists of the following two parts:

• Part 1: Review of applicants’ academic, work, and management records based on the following criteria: positions held, work and management experience, educational background, and personal qualities and abilities.
• Part 2: An interview to assess motivation and ability to complete the program, and to test knowledge and experience in handling management situations.

Admission Requirements:

• Applicants must meet the foreign language requirement stated above.
• The score for each part must be at least 50% of the maximum score for that part.
• Admission scores are the combined scores of Part 1 and Part 2, ranked from highest to lowest.

8. Tuition and Fees

Total tuition and support fees for the entire program are VND 160,000,000, payable in three installments, comprising:

• Tuition: VND 138,000,000 for the entire program
• Funding for organizing learner support activities: VND 22.0000.000 per program

The payment schedule for each installment is as follows:

• Installment 1: VND 60,000,000, payable upon enrollment,
• Installment 2: VND 60,000,000, payable before March 15, 2025
• Installment 3: VND 40,000,000, payable before October 15, 2025
