At the meeting, University Council members also discussed and provided feedback on the draft proposal to convert NEU from the truong dai hoc model to the dai hoc model; the draft Regulations on the Organization and Operation of NEU; the proposed transition of the College of Technology to a model offering application-oriented programs; and several other matters.

Concluding the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council, called on Council members, in accordance with their assigned responsibilities, to follow the Council’s work program, directions and tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024 more closely to carry out the planned activities effectively and on schedule.
