Pursuant to Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated January 18, 2022, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, stipulating the conditions, processes, and procedures for introducing majors and suspending their operation at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels;

Pursuant to Circular No. 12/2024/TT-BGDĐT dated October 10, 2024, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, amending and supplementing certain articles of Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BGDĐT stipulating the conditions, processes, and procedures for introducing majors and suspending their operation at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels;

Pursuant to Circular No. 09/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated June 6, 2022, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, prescribing the statistical classification of majors in higher education;

Pursuant to Decision No. 1596/QĐ-BGDĐT dated June 7, 2024, issued by the Minister of Education and Training, on the list of pilot majors at higher education levels;

Pursuant to Decision No. 2819/QĐ-ĐHKTQD dated November 21, 2022, issued by the President, prescribing the introduction of majors and the development, appraisal, and issuance of academic programs at higher education levels at National Economics University (NEU);

The University is implementing the President’s directive to research and develop proposals to introduce new undergraduate majors/academic programs in 2025, with admissions expected from 2026.

Units are requested to review the documents and submit proposals to register new majors/academic programs in 2025, with admissions expected from 2026. Proposals (using the appendix attached to this Official Letter) must be submitted in both hard copy and electronic form to the Department of Academic Affairs before December 21, 2024, through MSc. Nguyen Nghia Hoang, Department of Academic Affairs, Room 211-A1, email: nguyennghiahoang@neu.edu.vn, for compilation and reporting to the President.
