10 Slogans Promoting the Key Content of the Meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee

On November 28, 2024, the Central Commission for Information and Education issued Guidance No. 173-HD/BTGTW of 2024 on communicating the key content of the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee held on November 25, 2024.

Accordingly, on November 25, 2024, in response to the urgent need to bring together all advantages and strengths to usher the country into a new era—an era of national advancement—the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee discussed and reached agreement on many important issues. These included a strategy for streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system and the task of reviewing and evaluating the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee, “Some issues concerning continued reform and restructuring of the organizational apparatus of the political system to make it streamlined, effective, and efficient”; and the policy on developing national energy infrastructure to meet the country’s development requirements.

The Central Commission for Information and Education provided guidance on communicating the key content of the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee, including the following 10 slogans set out in Section V of Guidance No. 173-HD/BTGTW:

In addition, the purposes and requirements for communicating the key content of the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee are set out in Section I of Guidance No. 173-HD/BTGTW as follows:

– Widely communicate and foster a thorough understanding of the key content, building strong unity in thought and action throughout the Party and the political system, as well as social consensus, to effectively review the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of 2017, successfully implement the policy on reforming and restructuring the organizational apparatus of the political system to make it streamlined, effective, and efficient, and develop national energy infrastructure to meet the requirements and tasks of the new period.

– Emphasize the role, responsibility, and strong political determination of Party committees, government authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and mass organizations at all levels, first and foremost senior officials and heads of organizations, in leading and directing the review of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of 2017 and the implementation of the policy on reforming, restructuring, and improving the organizational apparatus of the political system and the policy on developing national energy infrastructure.

– Communication on the review of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of 2017 and the implementation of the policies on reforming and restructuring the organizational apparatus of the political system and developing national energy infrastructure must closely follow the roadmap, leadership, and direction of the Party Central Committee, using appropriate and effective formats. This must be linked to communication on the seven strategic directions for ushering the country into a new era—an era of advancement for the Vietnamese nation. Promote the role and effectiveness of communication in helping resolve difficulties and shortcomings during the review of the Resolution’s implementation and the implementation of these policies, creating a favorable atmosphere and fostering confidence among officials, Party members, and the people.
