Physical education and sports activities are among the strengths and highlights of both faculty and students at NEU, with contributions from the faculty and staff of the Department of Physical Education. In addition to fulfilling their teaching duties well and diversifying the physical education curriculum with sports such as track and field, soccer, table tennis, badminton, tennis, swimming, and martial arts, the lecturers also compete themselves and coach student teams and teams of faculty and staff to achieve strong results at national sports competitions. These achievements have been made possible by the University leadership\u2019s continued attention to and promotion of physical education and sports activities over the years, as well as the enthusiastic support and participation of faculty, staff, and students across the University.<\/p>\n

At the gathering, University leaders congratulated and encouraged the faculty and staff of the Department of Physical Education, as well as faculty, staff, and students across the University, to continue demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility, improve the quality of teaching and learning, and actively engage in physical education and sports.
