At the opening of the conference, delegates heard Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council, present the Party Committee’s report reviewing the first half of 2024 and setting out key tasks for the second half of the year. According to the report, in the first half of 2024, the NEU Party Committee focused on directing and carrying out work and tasks while ensuring that the University’s operations were not disrupted. Continue strengthening the resources and conditions needed for quality assurance, as well as quality management, to improve educational quality and standing in society. Further develop science, technology, and innovation activities. Link research with practice. Step up efforts to attract highly qualified experts from abroad to conduct research and teach at the University, and attract international students to study at the University.
