On December 2, 2024, the Central Commission for Information and Education issued Guidance No. 175-HD\/BTGTW<\/a> on publicity commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025).<\/p>\n The guidance is based on the Politburo\u2019s Directive No. 45-CT\/TW<\/a> of 2010 on renewing and improving the effectiveness of anniversary celebrations and ceremonies for conferring and receiving State honorary titles and high-level awards; the Government\u2019s Decree No. 145\/2013\/N\u0110-CP<\/a> regulating anniversary celebrations; ceremonies for conferring and receiving awards and emulation titles; diplomatic ceremonies and the reception of foreign guests; and the instructions of the Party Central Committee\u2019s Secretariat in Official Letter No. 4571-CV\/VPTW of 2022 issued by the Office of the Party Central Committee on commemorating several major holidays and important historical events during the three years from 2023 to 2025.<\/p>\n The Central Commission for Information and Education provides guidance on publicity commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025) and celebrating the spring of the Year of the Wood Snake, with the following publicity slogans prescribed in Section VI of Guidance No. 175-HD\/BTGTW<\/a> of 2024:<\/p>\n – Warmly celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2025)!<\/p>\n – The Communist Party of Vietnam\u2014the leader and organizer of every victory of the Vietnamese revolution!<\/p>\n – A strong Party, a developing country, an enduring nation!<\/p>\n – Let the entire Party, all the people, and all the armed forces strive to excel in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress!<\/p>\n – Remain steadfast in the goals of national independence and socialism!<\/p>\n – Welcome Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Party Congress!<\/p>\n – Build a clean and comprehensively strong Party and political system!<\/p>\n – The Party maintains close ties with the people and relies on the people to build the Party!<\/p>\n – The people are the source of the Party\u2019s strength!<\/p>\n – The people know, discuss, act, inspect, supervise, and benefit!<\/p>\n – Our Party embodies morality and civilization!<\/p>\n – Streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system to ensure effective and efficient operations is urgent and must not be delayed!<\/p>\n – Streamline the apparatus and organize Party bodies to truly serve as the intellectual core, the \u201cgeneral staff,\u201d and the vanguard leading State agencies!<\/p>\n – All for the goal of a prosperous people, a strong country, democracy, equity, and civilization!<\/p>\n – Long live the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam!<\/p>\n – Long live the Socialist Republic of Vietnam!<\/p>\n – The great President Ho Chi Minh lives on forever in our cause!<\/p>\n The historical significance of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Party\u2019s first Political Platform is set out in Point 4, Section I of the Publicity Outline issued with Guidance No. 175-HD\/BTGTW<\/a> of 2024, as follows:<\/p>\n – The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, together with its first Political Platform, opened a new era for the Vietnamese revolution\u2014an era of struggle for national independence and advancement toward socialism. The Party\u2019s first Political Platform defined the most fundamental elements of the path of the Vietnamese revolution, met the urgent needs of history, and became a rallying banner uniting communist organizations, revolutionary forces, and the entire nation.<\/p>\n – The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam marked an immensely important turning point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, determining the nation\u2019s development and ending the crisis in political direction and leadership organization within the Vietnamese patriotic movement in the early 20th century. It was the result of the evolution, development, and unification of the revolutionary movement nationwide; the painstaking preparations in all respects by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc; and the solidarity and unanimity of the vanguard fighters in the interests of their class and nation.<\/p>\n – The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam was the outcome of combining Marxism-Leninism with the workers\u2019 movement and the Vietnamese patriotic movement, demonstrating that the Vietnamese working class had matured and was capable of leading the revolution.<\/p>\n – The founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Party\u2019s position that the Vietnamese revolution was part of the world revolutionary movement helped secure tremendous support from that movement.
