On November 28, 2024, the Central Commission for Information and Education issued Guidance No. 173-HD\/BTGTW<\/a> of 2024 on communicating the key content of the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee held on November 25, 2024.<\/p>\n Accordingly, on November 25, 2024, in response to the urgent need to bring together all advantages and strengths to usher the country into a new era\u2014an era of national advancement\u2014the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee discussed and reached agreement on many important issues. These included a strategy for streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system and the task of reviewing and evaluating the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ\/TW<\/a> of 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee, \u201cSome issues concerning continued reform and restructuring of the organizational apparatus of the political system to make it streamlined, effective, and efficient\u201d<\/em>; and the policy on developing national energy infrastructure to meet the country\u2019s development requirements.<\/p>\n The Central Commission for Information and Education provided guidance on communicating the key content of the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee, including the following 10 slogans set out in Section V of Guidance No. 173-HD\/BTGTW<\/a>:<\/p>\n (1)<\/strong><\/em> Reform and restructure the organizational apparatus of the political system to make it lean, streamlined, strong, high-performing, effective, and efficient!<\/p>\n (2) <\/strong><\/em>Restructure the organizational apparatus to make it lean and streamlined, ensuring comprehensiveness, consistency, and interconnectedness!<\/p>\n (3) <\/strong><\/em>Streamline the apparatus of the political system effectively and practically, and combat waste!<\/p>\n (4)<\/strong><\/em> Focus on successfully carrying out the revolution in the organizational apparatus of the political system!<\/p>\n (5)<\/strong><\/em> Reforming and restructuring the organizational apparatus is an urgent requirement of current realities!<\/p>\n (6)<\/strong><\/em> Act resolutely and forcefully in restructuring the organizational apparatus of the political system!<\/p>\n (7)<\/strong><\/em> Implement coordinated solutions to comprehensively improve national energy infrastructure and meet the country\u2019s development requirements under new conditions!<\/p>\n (8)<\/strong><\/em> Long live the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam!<\/p>\n (9)<\/strong><\/em> Long live the Socialist Republic of Vietnam!<\/p>\n (10)<\/strong><\/em> The great President Ho Chi Minh lives forever in our cause!<\/p>\n In addition,<\/strong><\/em> the purposes and requirements for communicating the key content of the meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee are set out in Section I of Guidance No. 173-HD\/BTGTW<\/a> as follows:<\/p>\n – Widely communicate and foster a thorough understanding of the key content, building strong unity in thought and action throughout the Party and the political system, as well as social consensus, to effectively review the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ\/TW<\/a> of 2017, successfully implement the policy on reforming and restructuring the organizational apparatus of the political system to make it streamlined, effective, and efficient, and develop national energy infrastructure to meet the requirements and tasks of the new period.<\/p>\n – Emphasize the role, responsibility, and strong political determination of Party committees, government authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and mass organizations at all levels, first and foremost senior officials and heads of organizations, in leading and directing the review of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ\/TW<\/a> of 2017 and the implementation of the policy on reforming, restructuring, and improving the organizational apparatus of the political system and the policy on developing national energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n – Communication on the review of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ\/TW<\/a> of 2017 and the implementation of the policies on reforming and restructuring the organizational apparatus of the political system and developing national energy infrastructure must closely follow the roadmap, leadership, and direction of the Party Central Committee, using appropriate and effective formats. This must be linked to communication on the seven strategic directions for ushering the country into a new era\u2014an era of advancement for the Vietnamese nation.
