From a business idea to a project capable of creating real value, New Venture Creation (NVC) is a unique course in the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship and Business B-BAE Program at the International School of Management and Economics, National Economics University (NEU), where students not only learn about entrepreneurship but also directly experience the journey of building a business project. In 2026, this journey is expanded with a new step: for the first time, B-BAE students and students from the Faculty of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (FDA) will participate in a blended learning model, creating a space for the intersection of business thinking, technology, and artificial intelligence.<\/em><\/p>\n

From Classroom to the Journey of Building a Real Project<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Unlike approaches that focus solely on entrepreneurship theory, New Venture Creation is designed for students to “learn by doing.” During the course, student groups progressively identify problems, develop ideas, build products or services, reach out to customers, and validate the project’s value through real market conditions.<\/p>\n\n

This spirit has also been demonstrated through the ISME Innovation Fair series within this course in previous years. At the ISME Innovation Fair 2025 (provisionally translated: International School of Management and Economics Innovation Day)<\/em>, 10 projects by B-BAE students were introduced directly to customers, faculty members, and investors; students not only presented ideas but also had the opportunity to introduce, consult, and test-market their products.<\/p>\n\n

Thus, NVC not only asks “Is this idea good?” but more importantly, “Does this idea solve a real problem and create value?”<\/p>\n

NVC 2026: First Connection Between B-BAE and FDA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

If previous NVC seasons focused on developing the entrepreneurial and business capabilities of B-BAE students, this year, the course is expanded with a combined model between B-BAE students and students from the Faculty of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (FDA).<\/p>\n\n

This is a notable change in the approach to startup projects: a startup not only needs a good idea but also requires multiple professional perspectives to turn the idea into an implementable solution.<\/p>\n\n

B-BAE students are provided with a foundation in business, markets, marketing, strategy, and project development; meanwhile, FDA students are trained with a focus on the integration of technology, data, AI, and business thinking. This complementary approach enables teams to tackle entrepreneurial challenges from multiple perspectives.<\/p>\n

When Professional Differences Become an Advantage<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In a startup team, professional differences can become a crucial resource for product development.<\/p>\n\n

A customer’s issue can be viewed from a Business perspective to identify needs and business models; from a Data perspective to search and analyze data; and from an AI perspective to develop suitable technological solutions.<\/p>\n\n

With the combined B-BAE \u2013 FDA model, students have the opportunity to step out of their familiar “specialty zone” to work with individuals who think differently. This process not only provides the project with additional professional resources but also hones communication, delegation, coordination, and problem-solving skills within a multidisciplinary team.<\/p>\n\n

This is also how NVC continues to bring the spirit of project-based learning into practice: students do not learn each piece of knowledge in isolation but together utilize different competencies to solve a specific problem.<\/p>\n\n

This spirit continues the journey that New Venture Creation has built over the years. From the Innovation Fair to Demo Day, students are placed in situations increasingly close to the reality of a startup: developing ideas, testing products, receiving feedback, adjusting, and convincing customers or evaluation panels.<\/p>\n\n

With the combination of B-BAE@NEU’s entrepreneurial mindset and FDA’s technological and data capabilities, NVC 2026 further expands the space for students to experiment with new ideas.<\/p>\n\n

Because a startup project can begin from a very small issue. But when Business meets Technology, when ideas meet data, and when different specialties aim towards a common goal, a classroom idea can be developed into a solution with real-world value.<\/p>\n\n

New Venture Creation 2026 \u2013 where new ideas are formed, technology is applied in practice, and future entrepreneurs embark on their journey from Idea to Impact.<\/p>\n\n
