On 10 August 2026, the National Economics University (NEU) and the University of Birmingham (UoB), United Kingdom, completed the signing of a cooperation agreement establishing an international articulation pathway for students enrolled in NEU’s Bachelor of Financial Technology program. <\/em><\/p>\n\n

The agreement enables eligible students to continue their studies at Birmingham Business School, part of the University of Birmingham \u2013 ranked 68th globally in the QS World University Rankings 2027 \u2013 and a business school holding the prestigious \u201cTriple Crown\u201d accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS. Eligible NEU students admitted through the pathway will also benefit from dedicated support, including a 15% tuition fee reduction for each year of study at UoB.<\/p>\n\n

Importantly, all three degree programs available to NEU students through the articulation pathway are offered by Birmingham Business School, which holds the prestigious \u201cTriple Crown\u201d accreditation from AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS.     The pathway connects the interdisciplinary foundation in finance and technology developed at NEU with advanced study in economics, money, banking and finance, or mathematical economics and statistics, broadening students’ academic and international career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n

    A distinctive feature of the agreement is the package of support available specifically to eligible NEU students joining the University of Birmingham through the articulation pathway.
    Most notably, eligible NEU students will receive a 15% reduction in tuition fees for each year of study at the University of Birmingham, subject to international fee status and the conditions set out in the agreement.

    Applicants are required to successfully complete the first two years of NEU’s Bachelor of Financial Technology programme with a minimum overall GPA equivalent to B+ (3.5\/4.0), achieve at least a grade B in Econometrics 1, pass all other required modules, and satisfy the University of Birmingham’s English-language and standard admissions requirements.
