On behalf of the University leadership, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong warmly congratulated the 789 new graduates of the high-quality, POHE and Business Analytics programs on officially receiving their degrees that day.

Addressing the new graduates at the ceremony, Prof. Pham Hong Chuong shared that, throughout its 68-year journey of establishment and development, NEU has always taken pride in pioneering innovation, developing and disseminating knowledge in economics, management and business administration, attracting and educating talented individuals, and providing high-quality human resources to serve the country’s sustainable development. NEU has also affirmed its standing as an institution that educates Vietnam’s leading political figures, entrepreneurs and scholars in economics, management and business administration.

Prof. Pham Hong Chuong emphasized: “Success is not a destination, but a journey, an adventure and the conquest of new heights. Your success today marks the end of a stage filled with memories over the past four years, but also opens up a new horizon of opportunities and challenges, with exciting experiences awaiting you ahead.”

“With all that you have achieved, I am confident that you are ready and will effectively apply the knowledge and skills you have learned to your work and lives; think independently; and turn difficulties and challenges into opportunities to prove yourselves and create positive values for yourselves and society. Whatever positions you hold, you will always work with passion and dedication, contributing to the proud tradition of one of the country’s leading educational institutions, National Economics University.”

The President also affirmed that the success of the new graduates that day was a testament to their parents’ success in raising them. “Your degrees today are a deeply meaningful gift to your parents during this Vu Lan season of filial gratitude. They have always made sacrifices and given you the best they could to support you in achieving today’s success. On behalf of the University’s faculty, I would like to congratulate the parents and thank you for your trust in choosing the University and entrusting your children to us… Once again, on this solemn occasion of receiving your bachelor’s degrees, I wish all our new graduates success in realizing your aspirations and ambitions on the path ahead, becoming entrepreneurial citizens. Student Nguyen Dinh Nguyen Khoi shares his reflections on behalf of the 789 new graduates and presents flowers to express gratitude to faculty members.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Dinh Nguyen Khoi, a student in High-Quality Auditing Class 62A, said he felt deeply honored and proud to represent nearly 800 new graduates and share his feelings as they prepared to bring their student years at NEU and their shared home, AEP, to a close.

Nguyen Khoi said that in 2020, NEU came into his life as both a dream and a fortunate turn of fate. Although it had not been his original choice, he had never regretted his decision to spend his youth at NEU, and without NEU, he would certainly not be who he was today. The environment at NEU in general, and at his AEP home in particular, had helped him develop comprehensively, from academic expertise to achievements in activities and social skills.

“The past four years have helped us students mature and recognize many of life’s values. That time is like a thick book, each page recording memories, joys, sorrows and countless valuable lessons. Yet it would be very difficult to write such a beautiful and meaningful book of youth without the companionship of those who always love and believe in us. They are our families, who are always by our side and support us unconditionally; our teachers, who have devoted themselves to guiding us and imparting knowledge; and our friends, who have shared our joys and sorrows and overcome challenges with us. They are the ones who have created this beautiful and deeply meaningful book of youth.

And today, as we officially hold our university degrees in our hands, we have received a fitting reward for our tireless efforts. Many challenges still lie ahead, and although each of us will follow a different path, let us always remember that the resilience, spirit and imprint of NEU remain with us. Thank you, NEU and AEP, for becoming a part of my vibrant youth, and thank you all for being part of that youth. May we all realize our dreams, move confidently along the path ahead, and always strive to become citizens who contribute to society, living up to the expectations of our teachers and families and proving ourselves worthy of being students of the AEP School—Where Talent Shines,” Nguyen Khoi shared.
