At the training session, the Department of Inspection and Legal Affairs (the standing coordinating unit) presented important information related to the 2025 exam, including the latest directives and exam guidance documents and new features of this year’s exam. These changes include fewer exam subjects and sessions: the 2025 national high school graduation exam will have only three sessions, one fewer than in previous years, and four subjects instead of six, comprising two compulsory subjects (Mathematics and Literature) and two elective subjects. Other changes include an increased weighting for school transcript scores and the elimination of bonus points for vocational certificates and foreign language certificates. The department also covered procedures for exam registration, exam organization for the 2006 and 2018 general education curricula, exam room assignments, printing and copying exam papers, and invigilation, among other matters.
In addition to providing information, the training session included time for discussion and answers to questions about inspection procedures and exam regulations, as well as guidance on assessing training outcomes for participating staff.
