The Executive Master of Business Administration Program at the National Economics University (NEU) promotes the internationalization of its academic programs in collaboration with Tsinghua University, China.

From July 1-5, 2026, the delegation from the National Economics University, along with students from the 14th cohort of the Executive MBA Program, completed a study and practical consultation trip in Shenzhen, China. The program was organized with the aim of helping students access the management models of leading global technology enterprises, expand leadership thinking, enhance connections with the international business community, and promote collaboration between the National Economics University and strategic partners in China.

The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat, Chairman of the Scientific and Training Council; accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Thanh Huong, Dean of Graduate School; Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi, Dean of the College of Business; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Deputy Dean of Graduate School; along with lecturers and all students from the 14th cohort of the Executive MBA Program.

Practical learning is a key component of the Executive Master of Business Administration Program at the National Economics University, contributing to the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical management and business operations. Within the framework of the study program in Shenzhen, China, the group of students visited, surveyed, and conducted practical consultations at Streamax Technology Group and Shokz Technology Group; and attended the seminar “Opportunities for Cooperation between Chinese and Vietnamese Enterprises” at Tsinghua University (Shenzhen).

At the beginning of the program, the delegation visited and worked with Streamax Technology Group—a leading technology enterprise in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), and smart transportation solutions. Here, the students toured the product exhibition area, learned about the research and development process, as well as AI applications in transportation management, fleet management, and smart urban development. The visit not only helped students access new technology trends but also provided practical insights into digital transformation and innovation in business management.

Mr. Li Heng, Director of the Product Development Center, representing Streamax Technology Group, introduced the formation process, development strategy, and globalization direction of the group. In an open exchange atmosphere, the Executive MBA students posed many questions related to innovation strategies, technology enterprise management models, R&D activities, brand building in the international market, and experiences in expanding business operations globally. The practical insights shared by the company representative not only helped students better understand the management model of a leading technology group but also provided valuable perspectives on innovation, digital transformation, and business competitiveness in the context of globalization.

At Shokz Technology Group, a world leader in bone conduction headphones, Executive MBA students had the opportunity to directly experience the products, visit the exhibition area, and engage with company representatives to explore, discuss, and analyze product development strategies and global supply chain management to build sustainable competitive advantages for the company.

Continuing the program, the delegation from the National Economics University visited and worked at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School (Tsinghua SIGS). As a model combining Tsinghua University’s leading academic foundation with the dynamic innovation ecosystem of Shenzhen city, Tsinghua SIGS aims to create an international educational environment, promote interdisciplinary training, and closely integrate research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, thereby maximizing the creative potential of learners in the context of global scientific and technological development.

Within the framework of the program, representatives of the two universities exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cooperation in education, academic research, and the development of high-quality human resources. Both sides discussed directions for collaboration in training, academic research, and scholarly exchange. Notably, NEU and Tsinghua SIGS agreed to expedite the establishment of specialized working groups to develop joint academic programs, implement collaborative research projects, and plan for faculty and student exchanges in the near future.

Immediately following the working session, NEU, in collaboration with Tsinghua SIGS, organized a seminar titled “Opportunities for Cooperation between Chinese and Vietnamese Enterprises” with the participation of entrepreneurs who are alumni of Tsinghua University and Executive MBA students from cohort 14.

Overview of the seminar

At the seminar, Executive MBA students presented two research reports based on surveys and practical analyses at enterprises. Additionally, representatives of entrepreneurs who are alumni of Tsinghua SIGS shared numerous presentations on the prospects for cooperation between Chinese enterprises and ASEAN countries, as well as practical experiences in investment, business management, supply chain development, risk management, and building sustainable partnerships. These exchanges provided students with diverse perspectives on regional economic cooperation trends and key factors for enterprises to enhance competitiveness and expand operations in the context of international integration.

The study and practical consultation trip to Shenzhen offered Executive MBA students from cohort 14 the opportunity to directly engage with the management models, innovation strategies, and development mindset of leading global technology companies, while expanding connections with the business community and prestigious educational institutions in China. Through a series of enterprise surveys, thematic seminars, and academic exchanges, students not only reinforced their knowledge of modern management but also enhanced their innovative thinking, leadership skills, and adaptability in the context of international integration.

The mission was a resounding success, contributing to the expansion of the international collaboration network of the Executive MBA Program, strengthening connections between the business community, students, and alumni of the NEU Executive MBA with partners, enterprises, and educational institutions in China. This also exemplifies NEU’s commitment to developing the program according to international standards, with practical experience, business engagement, and global cooperation as the foundation for training entrepreneurs and managers with strategic thinking, innovative capabilities, and the ability to lead organizations towards sustainable development in the new era.
