“Teamwork 4.0” – NEU Supports NEU-Elearning Students in Japan on Their Career Development Journey

National Economics University (NEU) recently held the 2025 Career Development Sharing Program for NEU-Elearning students in Japan under the theme “Teamwork 4.0 – Developing Effective Teams in Learning and Business Environments.”

This practical annual program reflects the University’s support for NEU-Elearning students studying and working abroad, particularly in Japan.

An overview of the program

Attending the program were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Quang Vinh, Director of the Center for Distance Education; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Xuan Hau, Deputy Director of the Center for Distance Education; and students in the NEU-Elearning program.

Held in an open, professional, and highly interactive atmosphere, the program attracted a large number of NEU-Elearning students, along with lecturers, experts, and business representatives. It served as a forum connecting cohorts and classes, enabling students to interact directly with experts, businesspeople, and startup founders who are students in the program, thereby gaining practical perspectives on career development in the context of digital transformation and globalization.

Under the theme “Teamwork 4.0”, the program focused on clarifying the role of teamwork in online learning and modern business environments, where technology, multiculturalism, and flexibility have become essential requirements. Through presentations and discussions, students gained additional knowledge, skills, and practical experience in building, managing, and developing effective teams, from learning to professional work.

Beyond providing skills, the program also offered guidance and support as students developed soft skills, particularly collaboration, communication, team leadership, and time management. These important competencies help NEU-Elearning students adapt well to international working environments while improving learning effectiveness in the distance education model.

A highlight of the program was helping class representatives, particularly those studying in Japan, improve their skills in managing classes and organizing learning activities. This helped build cohesive, proactive, and effective learning teams, laying a foundation for the sustainable development of the NEU-Elearning student community abroad.

The 2025 Career Development Sharing Program for NEU-Elearning students in Japan further reaffirms NEU’s efforts to innovate student support activities, link education with practice, and comprehensively develop learners’ competencies to meet labor market demands in the digital era.
