Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chair of the University Council, emphasized that, as a leading university in Vietnam in economics, management, and business administration, NEU has consistently pioneered higher education reform, linking education with the practical needs of the country’s development.

NEU has always highly valued the business community’s cooperation and support in developing academic programs, conducting scientific research, and transferring knowledge—core elements that help improve educational quality and make practical contributions to socioeconomic development.

In particular, the University has always valued businesses’ support and strategic partnership in implementing the major directions set by the Politburo and the Government under Resolution 71 on breakthroughs in education and training development, together with Resolution 68 on private sector development in the new phase. Under the cooperation agreement, Tran Phu Electromechanical Joint Stock Company will sponsor NEU’s implementation of the “Project to Enhance the Educational and Research Capacity of the School of Business Administration.” The project aims to strengthen capacity in education, research, and innovation and develop Vietnam’s community of entrepreneurs, thereby contributing to the implementation of the Politburo’s and the Government’s resolutions on breakthroughs in education and training development.

Under the cooperation arrangement, Tran Phu Company will partner with NEU in a range of areas, including upgrading facilities, equipment, and modern simulation software; awarding scholarships to students; providing training to enhance lecturers’ capacity; and organizing academic competitions and domestic and international scientific conferences. The project also aims to invite leading experts and professors from Vietnam and abroad to teach and transfer knowledge, while developing world-class academic programs, thereby helping raise the standing of the School of Business Administration in particular and NEU as a whole.
