From March 22 to 24, 2024, the seventh NEU Golden Racket Tennis Tournament took place at the two-court tennis complex at National Economics University (NEU). The tournament brought together tennis enthusiasts from across the country who are NEU faculty and staff, students, learners, and alumni.

Attending the opening and closing ceremonies were Assoc. Nearly three days of competition featured almost 100 matches in singles for two age groups (over 40 and under 40), men’s Super Cup doubles, men’s 12.8 doubles, and women’s doubles. The exciting, closely contested matches featured many fine shots, demonstrating fair play in tennis and a spirit of exchange and connection between teachers and students and among generations of NEU students and alumni. Speaking after the tournament, athlete Quach Thanh Long (a Cohort 39 alumnus) thanked the Organizing Committee, teachers, and all participating athletes, saying, “This was a very exciting and meaningful tournament, with contributions from many athletes through outstanding matches and many beautiful shots.
